Mabel Lucie Attwell’s representation of Peter Pan, Wendy, the Pirates and Neverland are amongst some of our favourite illustrations. The cover features the picture entitled When Wendy grew up which is also the last plate in the volume. Another classic illustration is The Never Bird, and Mabel’s famous children character can be seen in But the window was barred.
